My work begins with a spot of paint, to which my fingers respond and evoke an image. I place a piece of Japanese paper on top of the drawing and transfer it. The image is inverted, and an unintended coincidence appears as a form.
Furthermore, by making the paper translucent, the image becomes diversified. I compose my work while thinking through the interconnection and expansion of these images.
In our daily lives, which flow from moment to moment, we are tossed about by an overflow of information, and it is very difficult to discern the truth from the facts. I would like to search for „the truth“ through the creation of my works.
